How I handle your information

This notice explains what personal information Clicked First collects, why, and what rights you have. I've kept it in plain English.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. Who I am

Clicked First is a trading name of Sean Weekes, a sole trader based in the UK. I am the controller of the personal information described in this notice.

2. What information I collect

Business contact details from public sources. To contact local businesses that might benefit from my services, I collect business contact information that has been published publicly, such as:

  • business name, business phone number, business email address and website, taken from the business's own Google listing or website;
  • names and roles of owners, directors or managers, where published on the business's website or on Companies House;
  • publicly visible details about the business's listing (for example, opening hours, categories, photos and reviews) that I use to prepare a free listing check.

The free check form on this website. If you fill in the form, I receive your name, clinic or business name and email address, plus anything optional you choose to add: phone number, town, a link to your Google listing (or your business name as it appears there) and your message. I use these details only to reply to you and to prepare and send your free listing check.

Information you give me. If you contact me or become a client: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the content of our messages, billing details, and anything else you choose to share with me about your business.

Access to your listing. If you become a client and add me as a manager of your Google Business Profile, I can see the information held in that profile, including its performance figures and customer reviews. I use this access only to provide the services you've asked for. I never ask for your password or ownership of the listing.

I don't knowingly collect special category information (such as health information). Please don't send me information about your customers or patients.

3. Why I use it and my lawful basis

  • Contacting businesses (B2B outreach). Legitimate interests: it's in my legitimate interest to tell relevant local businesses about a service that could help them, and I keep this proportionate. I only use business contact details, I keep messages relevant to your business, and every message tells you how to opt out.
  • Replying to enquiries and providing a free check (including anything you send through the free check form). Legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. I won't add you to a mailing list or use your form details for anything else.
  • Providing services to clients. Contract: I need the information to deliver the fix-up and monthly management you've signed up for, and to invoice you.
  • Keeping records. Legal obligation: for example, keeping accounting and tax records.

4. Opting out

If you don't want to hear from me, reply "stop" to any message, or email hello@clickedfirst.co.uk. I'll stop contacting you straight away and keep a minimal record (your business name and email address) only so that I don't contact you again.

5. How long I keep it

  • Outreach contacts who don't reply or don't become clients: deleted within 12 months of my last contact.
  • Free check form submissions and other enquiries that don't lead to working together: deleted within 12 months of my last contact with you, both from my inbox and from my website host's form records.
  • Opt-out records: kept for as long as I'm doing outreach, so that I respect your request.
  • Client records (contracts, invoices, correspondence): kept for 6 years after our work ends, for tax and legal reasons.
  • Manager access to your listing: I remove myself, or you remove me, when our work ends. I don't keep copies of your listing's data beyond the reports I sent you.

6. Who I share it with

I never sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing. I use a small number of trusted service providers (processors) who handle data on my behalf, for example:

  • my email provider (for sending and receiving email);
  • Netlify, Inc., my website host, which serves this website and processes the free check form. Form submissions are stored by Netlify and forwarded by email to hello@clickedfirst.co.uk. Netlify is based in the USA;
  • Stripe, my payment provider, which processes fix-up and monthly payments by card or Direct Debit. I never see or store your full card or bank details.

Some providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, I rely on the safeguards the law requires (such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum). I may also disclose information if the law requires it.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you;
  • ask me to correct information that's wrong or incomplete;
  • ask me to delete your information;
  • object to my use of your information, including for direct marketing (I'll always stop marketing when asked);
  • ask me to restrict how I use your information;
  • ask for information you gave me to be transferred to someone else (where this applies).

To use any of these rights, email hello@clickedfirst.co.uk. I'll respond within one month.

Complaints. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

8. Cookies

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking, and the free check form doesn't set any cookies or load any third-party scripts. Fonts are hosted on this site rather than loaded from a third party. My hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

9. Changes to this notice

I'll update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
